Out & About
Golfe Juan is a former
fishing village sitting on the edge of the Gulf of Juan (hence the name),
between Cannes & Juan Les Pins / Antibes (these two towns are divided by the Cap
d'Antibes on the coast but very close just 750m inland). If you want to
visit the Provencal market in Antibes and lay on a golden sandy beach but you
also love walking the Croisette in central Cannes, this location is for you.

Road
The main coastal road runs east to Juan Les Pins (approx. 900m) &
Antibes
via the Cap D’Antibes (approx. 1500 m), west to
Cannes
(approx. 1200m). The Route National 7 also
runs through the town, connecting to the A8 Autoroute, Sophia Antipolis &
Nice.
By
Rail
From your apartment’s front door,
you
are
within
50 metres from the station’s platform, the coastal
mainline runs from
Italy
(
San Remo
,
Ventimiglia) to
Barcelona, stopping in
Monaco, Nice,
Antibes,
Cannes, St. Tropez &
Marseilles
along the way. Leave traffic
worries behind and explore the
Riviera
’s best views with
SNCF,
France’s rail service. Trains are
generally punctual, clean and air conditioned with many double-decker carriages
servicing this route. Up to 6 trains leave
every hour in both directions up with the last train back from Nice at 01:10am,
so you can explore the nightlife up the coast without worrying about
breathalyser tests! Fares are
excellent value – from 2 Euros return to
Cannes
to 8 Euros return to
Monaco

train line has been completed in 2005, linking Golfe Juan with Grasse, France's
capital of perfume & pottery. Direct service every 20 minutes.
